Studio Kosuke Nakamura（SKN） は、中村幸介が2025年に設立したデザインスタジオ。建築を軸に、店舗や展示空間、家具、工芸との協働まで、領域を横断して設計を行う。素材や現象、風景の記憶を手がかりに、空間と文脈のあいだに、その場所だけの物語を描く。

近年は他分野と積極的な協業を試みている。陶芸家および左官職人との協働による家具制作では、土という素材を介して異なる分野を接続し、新たな質感を空間に取り入れる試みを行った。

建築家。
大阪に生まれ、姫路の里山を原風景に育つ。土や水、移ろう光の記憶が、いまもものをつくるときの拠りどころとなっている。素材や現象、風景の記憶をきっかけに、建築と家具、あるいは工芸と職人性の境界を横断して設計を行っている。
長い時間をともにする設計のプロセス。その途上で出会う発見やよろこびを、クライアントやつくり手と分かち合う。空間をつくることそのものが、関わるすべての人にとって楽しい営みになるために、日々手を動かす 。

Studio Kosuke Nakamura

Studio Kosuke Nakamura (SKN) is a design studio founded by Kosuke Nakamura in 2025.
Grounded in architecture, the studio works across a wide range of fields, including retail and exhibition spaces, furniture, and collaborations with craftspeople. Taking cues from materials, phenomena, and memories of landscapes, SKN creates stories shaped by each place, where space and context meet.

In recent years, the studio has been exploring collaborations across different disciplines. In a furniture project developed with a ceramic artist and a plasterer, soil became a shared language between the makers, bringing new textures and sensibilities into space.
Kosuke Nakamura

Kosuke Nakamura is an architect based in Japan.
Born in Osaka and raised with the satoyama landscape of Himeji as one of his earliest memories, Nakamura carries with him impressions of soil, water, and shifting light. These memories continue to inform the way he approaches making.

His work begins with materials, phenomena, and remembered landscapes, and crosses the boundaries between architecture, furniture, craft, and the work of the hand.

The process of design requires time. Through the discoveries and conversations that arise along the way, he seeks to make creating space a meaningful and enjoyable experience for those who build it together.
Profile

1998: Born in Higashi-Osaka, Osaka; raised with family roots in the satoyama landscape of Himeji, Hyogo.
2023: Completed graduate studies in architecture at the University of Tokyo; joined Yuko Nagayama & Associates.
2025: Founded Studio Kosuke Nakamura.
